SWAB BARCELONA 2016

A new edition of Swab Barcelona International Art Fair took place from September 29th to October 2nd, 2016 at Fira Barcelona.

Emilio Garcia presented new works with JPS Gallery, booth no.18, including drawings, paintings and a new edition of the Sponge Brain sculpture.

The highlight of the presentation was a large colorful installation composed of 70 unique Brain Hearts, creating an immersive display around one of Emilio Garcia’s most recognizable anatomical forms.

The installation expanded the Brain Heart series into a vibrant sculptural ensemble, combining repetition, color and individuality within the context of Swab Barcelona.
