THE SERIES POPUP SHOW

For three days in New York, Emilio Garcia took part in The Series Pop Up Show, presented by Hunter & Gatti and hosted by Julia Restoin Roitfeld.

Held at 201 Mulberry Street in November 2013, the exhibition presented a selection of celebrity portraits featuring Bruno Mars, Poppy Delevingne, Rebecca Ferguson and Douglas Booth, alongside acrylic paintings over photographic canvases from editorials for Vogue and Flaunt.

As part of the experience, Emilio Garcia contributed several one-of-a-kind Skull Brains, including the massive 28" fiberglass Skull Brain, bringing his sculptural work into dialogue with fashion photography, celebrity portraiture and contemporary pop imagery.
