SOTHEBY'S QEE AUCTION

The original hand-painted 8" Brain Pattern Qee by Emilio Garcia raised 1,050 EUR for the Foundation Against AIDS (FLS) during the Sotheby’s charity auction held at Swab Contemporary Art Fair in Barcelona.

This one-of-a-kind Qee was hand painted by Emilio Garcia and became the starting point for the later Brain Pattern Qee production editions, which traveled to Hong Kong and Los Angeles and were released in three different versions: 500 pieces in pink, 400 pieces in white GID and 100 pieces in old school GID.

The original custom piece achieved the second highest price of the Sotheby’s Swab auction.
