SWAB BARCELONA 2015

At Swab Art Fair Barcelona 2015, Emilio Garcia’s work was presented with JPS Gallery alongside Ron English and Hajime Sorayama.

The highlight of the presentation was Chanel Brain Bugs, a major sculptural installation composed of more than 100 insect pieces produced in stereolithography, each one featuring Emilio Garcia’s signature Brain Pattern sculpted in detail.

Displayed inside a showcase and arranged to form the iconic Chanel logo, the piece became the main highlight of the booth and one of the most talked-about works of the fair. It was also one of the first pieces to be sold during the preview.

This installation brought together contemporary sculpture, luxury iconography and Emilio Garcia’s anatomical visual language in one of the most striking presentations of the fair.
