In August Toy Art Gallery hosted the Julius Toy Art Show presented by the Paul Frank Brand. The show featured customs of the Julius vinyl figures including the Brain Head Julius by Emilio Garcia. Curated by Sweet Streets, the exhibition features interpretations of the brand’s iconic monkey mascot character from an impressive roster including: Abe Lincoln Jr, Boris Hoppek, Scott Tolleson, Uamou, Brent Nolasco, Cris Rose, Dave Bondi, Frank Kozik, Jermaine Rogers and Naoto Hattori among others.
